Quinn Lemley in Songs of the Sultry Redheads

Combining classic beauty and the glamour of a film star, sexy, Quinn Lemley turns her show into a steamy joint. The show, a mix of lounge, jazz and cabaret features songs from illustrious redheads and her own traveled life.

Lemley will be accompanied by her Red Hot Trio including…Musical director, James Sampliner on piano, Karl Spicer on bass and Peter Retzlaff on drums with smoking arrangements by Keith Herrmann ROMANCE, ROMANCE and Bob McDowell SWINGTIME CANTEEN. The show presents timeless songs from the 30's through the 60's, presented in a pop-jazz setting with classics such as Got A lot of Livin' To Do, Thirteen Men, Round Midnight, Still of the Night and Put The Blame on Mame.

The Quinn Lemley Quintet returned from a sold out two-week engagement in Athens, Greece. Lemley, most noted for her MAC nominated, one-woman show The Heat Is On, based on the life of Rita Hayworth, has been a part of the New York cabaret circuit playing prominent New York clubs. She also has recorded four CDs including, "Dance or Die," "Sirens," "Cocktails With A Twist," and "The Heat Is On". Lemley puts a hip and hot twist on the old-fashioned sophisticated sex appeal that was popular from the 30's through the 60's.
